Climbing Mount Batur is an interesting experience. The terrain is quite steep but presents a charming view. You can walk along the slightly rocky terrain but overgrown with grass. As far as the eye can see you can see beautiful grass and views of Lake Batur from a height. You can see the sunrise from the top of Mount Batur. The journey takes approximately 6 hours. At the top of the mountain you will find sellers of instant noodles/coffee and boiled eggs. Mount Batur is very crowded with tourists especially in August, where they celebrate the 17th day of August, Indonesia’s independence.
Tour Kintamani with Ubud Package Itinerary :
- 01.40 – 03.00 AM: Pick up time (depend on your hotel location)
- 04.00 AM: Begin our trek to Mount Batur Bali
- 06.15 AM: Arrival at the summit crater, where we witness the spectacular view and sunrise.
- 07.40 AM: Begin our descent to Toya Bungkah Village
- 08.40 AM: Arrival at Toya Bungkah Village (finish point)
- 10.00 AM: Stop off at a Balinese Coffee plantation
- In 03.30 PM: Back to the hotel.
